We have had a change of plans and we will be testing Social Studies TOMORROW! I've attached a practice test and a link to another. We have worked on both of these in class but students should review all of these items carefully in preparation for tomorrow. Good luck! I know you will do great!

TCAP Review- "Blogging the Bill of Rights"
Today in class, we also began working on a really fun activity having to do with the Bill of Rights. Students were asked to construct a blog or web page from the viewpoint of the "Father of the Constitution," James Madison. Guidelines for the blog are listed below:
Each blog should contain:
1.) Drawings or graphics to make it look like a web page or blog (toolbars, menus, ads for powdered wigs, pictures, etc.)
2.) A unique web address (www.jamesmadisonblog.com, etc.)
3.) A DETAILED entry about the first ten amendments to the Constitution, the Bill of Rights.

TCAP Review- The First Amendment
Today in class, we reviewed the five important freedoms guaranteed to us by the First Amendment: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and freedom of petition. On the handout below, students were asked to think of different ways that they have demonstrated those freedoms in school.
